Glowing fair skin looks attractive and which is why we all want to acquire the same. I don’t want to push you in the well which is filled with over the counter skin whitening creams /lotions and lot of eBooks that claims to make your skin fair within a few days. Really, I don’t like that kind of stuff and I want you to do the same.
Why Foods for fair skin?
“You are what you eat” or whatever you eat will be reflected on your skin. I’ve collected some food items which are known to have natural skin lightening effect. One thing from my side- the main aim of this article is to tell you about some ingredients that can really help you in keeping your skin healthy and to show you that how you can use natural ingredients to lighten your skin to some extent.
Foods for Skin Whitening
First thing first, eat a balanced and health diet for acquiring healthy and youthful skin. Our diet menu must be free from oily, spicy and fried foods. Try to go for foods that are high in fiber and low in sugar.
Drink Vitamin C
Here you can give a try to lemon water to keep your skin glowing and younger looking. Drinking lemon water daily on an empty stomach in the morning will not only help detoxify your body and skin but also it gives you a good dose of vitamin C. Vitamin C is essential for collagen building and it also saves you skin from various problems like premature aging, fine lines and wrinkles. Newly built collagen will keep your skin more firm and youthful. So, say no to botox or any other skin tightening treatment s and stick to lemon water. Plus, lemon juice itself is a good skin lightener. You can apply it on your skin to make it whiter. To dilute it you can either use water (for oily skin type) or use honey ( for dry skin type).

Dark chocolate is loaded with skin lightening and other skin friendly compounds such as antioxidants, flavanoids etc. Eating some pieces of dark coloured chocolate can help increase the texture and ultraviolet resistance of your skin.

Again papaya pulp is full of anti-aging content plus it also has mild exfoliating and skin fading effects. Spread this pulp on your skin to get fair skin tone that you have always wanted.
Eat Healthy Fats for glow
Eat omega food sources to make your skin moisturized and luminous. Add flax seed oil, olive oil, tuna, walnuts, almonds in to your diet. Massage you face with a mixture of olive and almond oil. Massage should be done before you go to your bed at night.
Milk for Skin Whitening

- Drink lot of water daily to keep your skin well hydrated. Dehydrated skin is more susceptible to hyper pigmentation related issues.
- Avoid sitting in the sun light for too long. Also, use good sun screen lotion in order to save your skin form harsh rays of the sun.
- Loose skin looks dark and vice versa. You should exercise daily to in order to make or maintain tightness of your skin.
- Take adequate good night sleep.
- Your skin care products must be free for harsh chemicals. Go for organic products.
